Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a part of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. As the artistic director of SSC, she was SSC's composer, musician and text director as well as the costume, set and music design. Although she was usually the leader of her ensembles the first time she was directing was as part of SSC King Lear. Apart from acting, she's been involved in a variety of game-based programs. Her two sisters and daughter were nurtured by her scientist father Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school of choice. She was a cheerleader. She went to Pomona College for a short duration and graduated in Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. Post had been married before to Stephen Knox. She has been married from 1982 on to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer with whom she has two daughters. Post inspires numerous Hollywood actors since she's an outstanding actress, as well as ideal wife and parent.
